The Youth Caucus of the CSD, in partnership with SustainUS, would like to invite all youth participating in CSD 16 to an informal training and information session.

Preliminary PROGRAMME (may change):
10:00 Meet and Greet - introductions
Take a moment to mingle, meet each other, and enjoy sustainable snacks.
10:30 Introduction to CSD and the Review Process
Juan Hoffmaister and Chloe Stull-Lanefrom SustainUS will give a presentation about the CSD process, the issues up for discussion this year, and a synopsis of the meaning behind CSD-16 as a review year
11:30 Introduction to the Youth Caucus
Selene and Lucas will give a presentation about how the Youth Caucus functions within the CSD, including information about purposes and goals. Presentation will also include the logistics of how the Caucus will function throughout the two weeks.
12:30 Lunch
13:00 Break for Change
Blasters will be divided into smaller discussion groups. With the help of facilitators, groups will take time to hear each other’s stories, discuss the issues and the movement, and brainstorm about the coming weeks.
14:00 Talk with UN Major Groups Coordinator (invited)
15:00 Logistical Questions, Getting around the UN, Picking up your accreditation, ect.
16:00 The Time to Act is Now
The group will convene for a final conversation with the plan of emerging from the Blast with a vision and action plan for best engaging the CSD. Final announcements, break, informal networking time.
